Four Everyday Autumn Inspired Look – Peach & Cranberry

October is my favourite month of the year, why? Because its when the cold, crispy autumn seasons starts to roll in and also because i am born a libra. When i was in Switzerland, i bought MAC Cosmetic’s eyeshadow in Paradisco and Cranberry, some typical autumnal shades but never really used it. To commemorate them, i decided to take them out to further experiment them. Below are the four simple looks that i have created with the list of products. Three looks will be based on Paradisco, a shimmery peach, while the last look was based the shade “Cranberry”, a burgundy.

Looking into beauty trends in Asian/ Korean vs. Western/ American look for Autumnal vibes, it seems that the Asian/ Korean trends take in more peachy looks while the Western/ Americans usually go with burgundy shades normally due to eye shape. Though in 2017, It seemed to have flipped over just by the palettes and shades famous brands of each side brought out. Western brands like Two Faced has came out with a “Peach” Matte line, where as Asian brands like Etude house has brought out “Wine” based palettes.

Also, i had my eyebrows tattooed two weeks ago in Indonesia. A blogpost will follow after having it retouched, which will be around next month.

Day 1 of eyebrow embroidery

These are my peeling brows, day three in with the embroidery so it looked really messy 😦 It was also on my birthday. Please don’t mind it.

I wore significantly less Paradisco and more brown in this look as compared to the one before, which i really liked. Also, this was the first time i tired out Etude House’s peel off lip colour (Dear Darling Water Gel Tint Pack) which caused the inner part of my lips to be extremely dry.

Look Three

I would say the look that i was most satisfied with, because I had more time and incorporated different crease shades to achieve this look. Because of The Balm’s greyish shade, it looked more sophisticated then the first look. The lip colour was darker and consistency was lighter in the lipstick i used here. IMG_6523

Look Four – Cranberry eyes

I absolutely loved the colour “Cranberry”, but didn’t really know how to apply it without looking as though i got punched in the eye. But of course i have time to play more with it 😀

Pre – Christmas date with @toffeemilk and @fyonx

The year after entering the hospitality world when i haven’t worked and is actually home for christmas but didn’t celebrate them much as i liked. Instead i get to see some of my friends whom I’ve known from 4 years ago but yet to meet, as well as some cousins. But hey, not complaining since who knows when else can i spend it at home like finally!

These girls were some of those fan girls i met 4/5 years ago, and i’ve only met Dhee before while i was in SG. I was a huge fan of Super Junior, now milder as i get older but these girls did not ever stop fan girl – ing. Angela is still on about BTS and Dhee Infinite. Well, take me to Nu’est already!

Though we were suppose to meet at 7, i only arrived at 8:30 due to traffic! 2 hours worth of traffic although the place we have decided to meet would usually take me only half an hour to get there. Let us meet in Singapore or Switzerland again girls! The traffic and punctuality of Indonesia hopefully shall match their’s one day.

Guys, the size of our christmas tree this year since we moved house! Honestly i liked this picture is because of how full my lashes looked. All i had on was Cover Girl’s mascara

Reliving the hospitality life

Initially, I chose hospitality as my university degree is because i believe everyone having some sort comfortable daily lif, a special memory to be created if you will. There are unexpectedness and at times you have to adjust accordingly is something I would like to challenge myself with. After two years in this line of work, I start to forget my core and reason of why hospitality was my choice! I could have life a comfortable university life like all my friends who are taking business and communications, and here I am working on internships and in the future, getting a salary that is close to nothing as compared to what we do. Today, I get to relive why I got into hospitality, something I haven’t felt since the “chaine de rotisseur” event I did almost a year ago.
Here is to “Autumnal Masquarade Ball” by Les Roches 2015.2 PGD2, another event I got to participate behind the scene. Clocked in at 10am Saturday 7th of November 2015, clocked out at 12:30am 8th of November 2015.

“Forest” preparation. Due to miscommunications and safety reason where lights cannot be turned off to make the dark forest feel, we had to work our way around and cover the lights with black paper and black trash bags as of what we have.
Jacket collection team – organisation at its best.

Halloween Horror Night 4 – organised by Resort World Sentosa

Working full time (as an intern) in sentosa has been alright for the past two weeks. The schedules were quite flexible and people are pretty alright at this moment (hey, can’t judge much right? I mean it’s been two weeks). I met some great people around due to induction and so on.

October, other then well known for Oktoberfest, is Halloween month in most countries. This year, I finally am able to experience RWS’s Halloween Horror Night 4th edition, not sentosa’s Spooktacular Halloween event. I brought a long my cousins and a friend of their’s this time right after an F&B hygiene course I’ve taken in Switzerland.

So here goes the pictures for the Halloween Night Horror 4 with my cousins.

We really didn’t have enough time to go around all, there are a lot of people in there. Crowded is an understatement. By the way when you post a picture in USS, where it was located, with the hashtag #hhn4, your picture will float around their big screens.

Earlier this morning till 6pm, I had a Food Hygiene course. I met some really nice kids, some 4 years younger. It was nice just suddenly talking to them though we are random strangers. Other then Joel and Ethel whom I met during the first couple of days (whom are older and or my age) I haven’t gotten along much with people so much younger though.

Things has finally calmed down

There were too many things going on for the past week, months even. Too many things i couldn’t put into words then, but now that many has settled down it felt like i have finally calmed down enough to talk about them.

School is insane, one month into starting and mid terms are just around the corner. Things happened, both bad and good but i believe God places these situations in my life to let me grow and have experience. A few of us got into a car accident last saturday when we went to Bern, the police and ambulance were alerted. A friend had to be hospitalised for a night, and another had to deal with the police case. God being gracious, things were settled within 6 hours and we went home for the night before going to Bern the next morning to pick the guy in the hospitalised. Sleep was practically none exsistant for a couple of us but we went through the whole ordeal fine enough. The friend who got hospitalised did not need operation, but now has to rely on clutches and a bit of medication for the week or two. The one who needed to settle the police case went back to England yesterday, after everything he needed to settle friendship wise and the unfortunate car accident wise.

After being restless due to the countless situation like this car accident, internship, and some relationship problems, I think i can finally have some peace and a good night sleep. Yea, i am still slightly upset for some things, but a lot of burden has been lifted. I experienced things i never thought i would experienced any time soon as well. The “upset” feeling i have now probably is the best for me, and all i have to thank is God, as guidance and peace was given throughout. All i need to concentrate on right now is the impending exams that will take place next week and my internship, these are priority. Friends are always there to help, but when my close friends from back home aren’t here by my side to help me and when i need to talk physically with them, i just need to deal with it for now myself. Its the time and phase where i really just need a couple of hugs, but not just anyone. I need people who knows me for me, and those who actually understands my situation.

Things I’m doing here probably would disappoint many people, including m younger self, but these are things i need to experience to actually make myself grow up. I cannot grow up if i kept comparing myself to the old me. I haven’t regretted a thing i did these week, other then not studying enough and a long with it, my internship. I have gotten an interview request from Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd Asia Pacific region for a 6 months internship, but I’m still thinking if i should do the first intern in Switzerland first. But i doubt i can forgive myself if i miss out on such a great but sure exhuasting working experience of the Royal Caribbean. I can only pray God give me proper guidance on all these.

But anyways, enough on the rambling. I feel a lot better already, but there are still many things unspoken, so many i cannot share out in public. Enjoy the pictures by the way 😀

20th Birthday Dinner @ SeeBurg Hotel Luzern, Switzerland

Since university started in 5 days after i turn 20, my parents decided we would go around visiting some cities in Switzerland to help with combatting jet lag when school starts. But being an international high school, it was pointless to stay in singapore after graduation since everyone went back to their own countries a short while after graduation. So with no classmates around me to celebrate with me, i’m like “Kay, why not?” Though the sad thing is, my brothers and my maid won’t be with me to kick off the new chapter of my life = Chapter 2.0

We were at Luzern, Switzerland around the days of my 20th birthday, unable to speak french nor german we decided to just settle with dinner in the hotel. SeeBurg Hoterl Luzern is around a 10 minutes bus ride from the train station, and with great view of the lake from rooms. The food was great, but it did not stop me from being home sick.
